State Line Aperitivo is the first classic Italian apertif made in Wisconsin. Notes of citrus peel, cinnamon, & warming spices, this bitter, herbal spirit holds a unique and popular position in the modern American palette. State Line Aperitivo is a maceration of citrus peel, spices, gentian root, and beets, which gives it that distinctive red color. It’s finished with a touch of cane sugar, then rested until it is ready to bottle.
