Small Batch Rum Distilled in El Salvador

This blend of small batch rums from El Salvador, each at least 11 years old, was re-casked into Kentucky bourbon and rye whiskey barrels to add sweet notes of vanilla, caramel, white flowers and citrus fruit. To balance the sweet flavors, some of the rum was aged in French Oak Port casks and Sherry casks, which added notes of baking spice, hazelnut and dark fruits. Total age in barrels: 11 years. Bottled at cask strength (110 proof).
