Tamworth Art in the Age Mountain Berry Cordial

The summer berry production in New Hampshire is a small but joyous window in mid-summer. We capture it by distilling our neighbors at Wayside Farm’s hand-picked red raspberries, honeyberries and chokeberries with our house made Neutral Spirit before adding it to a white oak barrel for finishing and mellowing. The berries take on some creamy wood lactones and vanilla notes from aging, resulting in a delightful, tart-yet-sweet cordial.
