True Story Finished Rye

A blend of 95% rye / 5% malted barley rye whiskey from Indiana, and 91% rye / 9% malted barley rye whiskey from Northern Kentucky. Initially aged 5-8 years, the liquid is then finished in Amburana and Sherry casks for 2-12 months. Amburana, a Brazilian hardwood, adds notes of spice. Oloroso and PX Sherry casks bring raisin and dried fruit notes. The sweet and spice combination of both finishes create a final balanced profile.
